Play Worlds builds virtual worlds for clients. This page explains what we collect on this website.

The data on this site is the responsibility of [Owner to fill: the name and location of the person or company responsible for your data].

What we collect

When you answer the questions on our booking page we save your answers as you go, so we can prepare for your call. When you give us your name and email address we save those too.

With each enquiry we keep:

• your answers: who the world is for, the occasion and its date, what it should show, the setting and the size;
• your name and email address, once you give them;
• how you reached us: which version of our invitation page you saw, the advert’s campaign tags, and which of our pages sent you to the booking page;
• whether you accepted cookies;
• only if you accepted cookies: your browser’s description of itself (its user agent) and Meta’s identifiers for your browser and for the advert you clicked;
• when you book: the time of the call and Cal.com’s reference for the booking, and any notes you gave Cal.com if your answers did not reach us.

Booking a call

The calendar on the booking page is Cal.com’s. It receives your name and email address so it can make the booking, and it sends the booking back to us: the time of the call, your name and email address, and any notes you add there.

Cookies and advertising

If you accept cookies, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to learn which adverts lead to bookings. With each of these events we send Meta your email address in hashed form, your IP address and your browser’s user agent. We also remember, for 30 days, which advert brought you here, so it is still known if you look around before booking. If you decline, none of this happens and nothing is sent to Meta. To change your mind at any time, use “Cookie choice” in the footer of any page and the question will be asked again; saying no removes these cookies, Meta’s included.

We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you.

Who handles your information

Supabase stores your answers. Cal.com handles bookings. Cloudflare hosts this site and checks that forms are filled in by people; for that check it receives your IP address. Meta receives advertising events, only with your consent.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time. Email hello@playworlds.example and we will do it.
